Statements of Faith

We believe in one God- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Trinity)

Matthew 3:16-17, John 14: 9-10

 

We believe in the virgin birth, Jesus Christ, God’s only Son and Savior of the world.

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every Christian.

John 16:5-15

 

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and the final authority for all matters of Faith.

Hebrews 4:13, Romans 15:4

 

We believe that man, created by God, willfully sinned, and as a result, is lost and without Hope apart from Jesus Christ.

We believe that salvation comes by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ and His death on the cross.

We believe in baptism as demonstrated by Christ.

In essential beliefs – we have unity.

“There is one body and one spirit…there is one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, and one God and father of us all…” 

Ephesians 4:4-6

 

In nonessential beliefs – we have liberty.

“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant?  To his own master he stands of falls…So then each of us will give an account of himself to God… so whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.”

In all our beliefs – we show charity.

If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but also the very secrets of God, and if I have the faith that can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
